Septic Tank Filters

Why is it that the UK is one of the last countries in the world to discover Septic Tank and Sewage Treatment Plant Filters?
When Septic Tank and sewage treatment plant soakaways cost so much to replace, you would think that for £35, architects and sewage treatment plant suppliers would include them in the system?
They will not fit into a Klargester septic tank.

We receive calls every day from people whose soakaways have failed due to becoming clogged with solids exiting the tank and the only option, in most cases, is to completely replace them at great expense - IF there is enough land available.

Septic tank filters reduce the suspended solids in the final effluent by about 70%, protecting the soakaway from blockage and increasing its life tremendously.

Isn't it about time that we joined the rest of the world and started to include them in the sewage system?
